Parisian Shabby Chic

I'm still churning out pieces for the up coming Christmas Fairs, and these are no exception... My Parisian Shabby Chic Ribbons are created out of tea dyed muslin and stamped with vintage style Paris images and slogans, the edges left frayed for a "shabby" appearance.
The ribbons are presented on thick cardstock stamped with complimenting images and finished off with vintage lace.
They look really pretty dressing up a wrapped gift, or simply give the ribbon as a gift in itself!!

My ribbons will be available at the up-coming Wealden Mid-Winter Fair.. details coming soon!

Busy, Busy, Busy.....

I am counting down to the Wealden Mid-Winter Fair, busy creating and making goodies to display and sell at this wonderful annual Christmas Gift Fair. I've got all my old faithfuls ready for the show; My whimsical Christmas Cards, Gift Tags and Boxes, as well as a large collection of vintage inspired Jewellery. The vintage teacup pin cushions that I blogged about earlier, will also be on sale, alongside pretty Christmas Banners and little fairy magnets.
Journals, Boudoir Feather Dusters, Lavender Sachets, Fabric Angels, Fairy Bookmarks and so much more besides, and in addition to my own creations I will also have a few "Guest" pieces from good blog friends of mine, these will include the amazing Fabric Suffragette Dolls by Lenae May and some beautiful Felt Flapper Brooches by Yalipaz. I will keep you up to date on my creations for the Fair in future posts as well as details on the Fair itself nearer the time.

Teacup Pin Cushions... Sew Shabby Chic!

I had so much enjoyment making these pretty Teacup Pin Cushions, they are forming part of my new stock for the up coming Christmas Fairs I'll be attending. I'm always trying to add new interesting items to my shop and these will make great Christmas Gifts for creative friends and family in your life!
I'm always on the look out for pretty vintage teacups in local charity shops as they are interesting on their own as display items in the home, especially if you like to live a Vintage Decorative Life as I do!!

Being able to turn the teacups into something functional is great, I've seen them filled with wax for candles and also more recently cups and saucers piled on top of one another to create unusual cake stands.
At this moment in time I will not be listing these in my Shop until I have more stock, however, if you are interested in purchasing one please drop me an email.
