The Fairy Tale Fair - The Fairest of Them All!

Last Saturday Maygreen Fairies exhibited at the Wonderfully Whimsical Fairy Tale Fair in Patcham, nr Brighton, this Fair is the brain child of Claire of Cat-a-Cake-Creations and boy does she and her lovely parents work hard to create such a fabulous atmosphere and promote this fantastic event.
The Fair was packed with Artists and Makers displaying their amazing talents, there were so many stalls that I didn't get round to photographing them all, but this is just a sneek peek of some of what was on offer.  As well as the Stalls there was a Craft/Workshop room where children were having lots of fun creating, along with a talented Face Painter who made many a childs dream come true by painting their faces in Fairytale Designs with lots of colour and sparkle. Above and Below you can see the beautiful ceramics from Lubilou Ceramics

The truly scrumptious Tea Room was awash with Alice in Wonderland Style Cakes and Goodies, extremely tempting!
The amazing talents of Mooshpie were on display right opposite my stand, and it was very hard not to purchase something from her... I had to show great restraint so as not to spend my money before I'd even made any!
I just adore this little fellow by Lucy of Little Things I Make, be sure to check out her blog here!
Maygreen Fairies stand was jam packed with Fairy Goodness, thank you to all who dropped by it was lovely to meet and chat with you all.  And a big thank you to Christiane Berridge, Editor of The Doll's House Magazine and the Crafts Institute, for taking this beautiful photo of one of my caged fairies above, you can see the photo again and read Christiane's blog post on the Fair here

Another super talented lady Deborah Ballinger, Freelance Illustrator and Giftware Designer, her items made my heart sing.... so beautiful, lots of whimsy to love here.....

And the talent keeps on coming, just feast your eyes on these adoreable designs from Claire of Beetle Cherry, find out more about Claire and her work here

My final image is from the wonderful host Claire of Cat-a-Cake-Creations, thank you so much Claire for a truly wonderful day, I can't wait for the next Fair!  To find out more about The Fairy Tale Fair, please visit their facebook page here.

Some Whimsy Designs...

I do enjoy occasionally taking a break from hands on, paper creating and turning to the delights of Digital Design, I apologise if some of my Facebook Followers are seeing these designs for a second time, but for the benefit of my Blog readers here are some of my latest creations using digital images.
To create these pieces I have used a mixture of digital images some from Deviant Scrap, in particular from the super talented Tracey of Hidden Vintage Studios... without you Tracey I couldn't have designed some of these whimsical images so thank you sweetie xx
Other imagery is sourced from my own collection of thousands of pictures and photos, below is one of my favourite recent designs... Florence and her captured Fairy no: 1106,  as many of my followers will know, captured fairies in bottles and jars are one of my staple pieces so this is of particular meaning to me...
Below is another piece and I thought in keeping with the latest Oz Film that is due out, I have created an Emerald City design, I adore the colours in this design, the auburn hair and green costuming is just perfect!
And finally, one of my most popular digital pieces to date, The Keeper of the Owls.  The little lady in this piece is from an old photograph, I have added some stripy legs to really set her off and stood her amongst her charge of owls.
Any of these designs you see above are available as prints, please email me if you are interested in anything you see.  Oh, and I hope all you Mum's out there are having a fabulous Mothers Day, my boys have spoilt me rotten today!!
